MEGA BULB lighting collection, by SOFIE REFER, for ANDTRADITION: sober, beautiful and elegant lighting

With MEGA BULB, the Danish light artist SOFIE REFER has lit up the new millennium, and a new classic was born.

The shape refers to the first electrical light bulbs by using thick transparent glass. SOFIE REFER perpetuates an elegant Nordic tradition, adding her passion and her femininity. The small irregularities in the mouth blown glass, makes each of the lamps unique. This collection reveals the efforts of the glass blowers, in choosing sand, soda and chalk, finely dosed to create a modern classic lighting, using a thousand year old method.

Production process : The glass is mouthblown, handcrafted.
