It was a time of enlightenment. It was 1929. Arne Jacobsen designed his lamp to light up the experimental house of the Future. A breakthrough for modernism. Like the house of the Future, the Bellevue lamp combines rounded and sharp, straight lines. simplistic, rational and created for the free human being. At a time before Arne Jacobsen became world famous. When his ideas on design were young and fresh.
