Discover the BOOK chair, a tribute to timeless design, functionality and adaptability.

The BOOK chair has been designed to complement the expansive layouts of conference rooms, while drawing inspiration from the urban charm of cafes and the refined sophistication of hotels. It harmoniously combines robustness and lightness.

Its durable steel base and elegantly molded plywood seat, offering backrest flexibility, create the perfect balance between durability and visual appeal. The graceful rounded shape and open back of the chair, seen from the rear, draw an artistic silhouette that fuses form and function in perfect harmony.

What makes the BOOK chair truly unique is its innovative stackable spacer. Not only does it protect the wood and upholstery when the chairs are stacked, but it also hides the structural joints under the seat, preserving the sleek appearance of the chair.

One of the strengths of the BOOK chair is its respect for space. When not in use, it can be stacked easily, taking up minimal space and ready for the next occasion. Despite its sturdy construction, each chair is light to the touch and can be moved by hand or on a specific cart with ease.

A key aspect of our commitment to sustainability is our firm commitment to sourcing wood exclusively from FSC-certified® forests. As this product carries the FSC® (FSC-C130602) label, you can be assured of its ethical origin and its contribution to the preservation of our precious forests.

Dimensions:

Chair: 53.5 x 51.5 x 83 cm (W x D x H) - 6.3 kg

Armchair: 62 x 53 x 83 cm (W x D x H) - 7.4 kg

Form-pressed veneer
The wooden components feature form-pressed veneers in oak or walnut (covering both top and bottom layers), with beech providing the structural inner layers. Additionally, the armchair seat is available with textile or leather upholstery.

Stacking box
A stacking box positioned under the seat shell ensures that the upper chair does not leave marks on the upholstery or veneer of the chair below, unlike what might occur with the use of seat spacers. The stacking box is also crafted from form-pressed veneer.

Metal base
The armchair's sleek metal base is constructed from Ø18 mm bent steel tubes and comes in a black powder-coated finish, featuring a fine, granulated surface texture.

The chair legs
Fitted with plastic gliders, the chair legs are compatible with most flooring types found in private, public, and contract settings. Felt gliders, designed for sensitive floors, are available upon request.

Wood finish
Wooden parts are treated with water-based transparent lacquer finishes for protection and aesthetics.
